PSA Group Grading – Shipping Deposit
This PSA Group Grading Shipping Deposit covers the initial intake, review, and administrative processing of cards submitted through Serial Sports, LLC for inclusion in a PSA group submission.
This deposit does not represent the total cost of grading. The amount paid will be applied as a credit toward the final PSA submission balance, which may include grading fees, return shipping, insurance, PSA upcharges, and service-level adjustments as determined solely by PSA.
Scope of Deposit
The deposit includes:
• Intake inspection and verification of submitted cards
• Review of declared value and requested service level
• Preparation, documentation, and organization for PSA submission
• Administrative handling prior to shipment to PSA
Inspection, Recommendation & Customer Election
As part of the intake process, Serial Sports, LLC may, in its reasonable discretion, identify cards that may not be suitable for PSA grading, including but not limited to condition concerns, authenticity questions, evidence of alteration, or unfavorable cost-to-value considerations.
Any recommendation by Serial Sports, LLC that a card not be graded is advisory only and does not constitute a guarantee of PSA outcomes or future value. The final decision to proceed with or withdraw a card from submission rests solely with the card owner.
If the owner elects not to proceed with grading following such a recommendation—and provided the card(s) have not yet been submitted to PSA—the card(s) may be returned to the owner at no additional cost.
For clarity, “no additional cost” includes standard return shipping within the United States or local pickup, at the sole discretion of Serial Sports, LLC. Expedited shipping, international shipping, or special handling requests may incur additional charges.
The owner must notify Serial Sports, LLC of their decision to proceed or withdraw within seven (7) calendar days of notification. Failure to respond within this period may result in the card(s) being submitted for grading in accordance with the original submission instructions.
PSA Policies & Acknowledgments
All submissions are subject to PSA’s current grading terms, standards, and policies, including but not limited to:
• PSA’s sole discretion in assigning grades
• PSA’s authority to adjust service levels and impose upcharges
• PSA turnaround times being estimates only and not guaranteed
• PSA handling, encapsulation, and quality-control procedures
Serial Sports, LLC does not grade cards, influence PSA grading outcomes, guarantee grades or turnaround times, or assume responsibility for PSA determinations, delays, or upcharges.
Required Documentation
Prior to submission, customers must review, acknowledge, and sign the PSA Group Grading Resubmission Document, which outlines:
• Customer representations, declared value accuracy, and submission authority
• Risks inherent to third-party grading and shipping
• The limited role of Serial Sports, LLC as a third-party submission facilitator
Cards will not be submitted to PSA until the signed documentation is received.
Risk, Liability & Insurance
Customers acknowledge that grading and shipping involve inherent risks. Any claims for loss or damage are governed by PSA’s insurance limits, applicable carrier terms, and the resubmission document. Liability, if any, is limited accordingly.
Non-Refundability
Deposits are non-refundable once cards have entered administrative review or the submission process has begun. Failure to provide required documentation or timely instructions may result in submission delays or cancellation without refund.
By purchasing this deposit, the customer confirms acceptance of PSA’s terms and authorizes Serial Sports, LLC to act solely as a third-party facilitator for group submission.
